Suitable for a range of duties including landscaping, grass mowing, general turf maintenance and horticulture, the versatile TC21D is light, powerful, manoeuvrable and extremely quiet in operation. It can be fitted with a choice of purpose-built mid-mount mowing decks and is equipped with selectable 4WD. The TC21D's exceptionally strong axles are designed to take the additional loads of heavy mounted equipment, including a front loader or rear backhoe. Manoeuvrability is excellent. Without the need to use independent brakes, which can cause damage to delicate surfaces, the TC21D is capable of turning within a radius of 2.30 m. An independent steering pump delivers 10.4 l/min, ensuring low steering effort even at reduced engine speeds. The Category I rear three-point linkage is designed to deliver 670 kg of lift at the link ends, providing ample capacity to easily handle implements designed for this size of tractor.

Folding ROPS for low height
With the standard ROPS frame raised the TC21D’s overall height is just over 2.20 m. Folding the frame reduces height to below 1.80 m. This provides the flexibility for operators to gain access through low doorways or work safely under low branches.

Tyres to suit the application
New Holland offers the TC21D with a range of tyre options. These include a turf pattern tyre for continuous turfcare applications and an agricultural tread where traction is the main consideration

Clean quiet power
Despite its compact size, the TC21D's smooth three cylinder 1005 cc engine delivers class-leading 69.5 Nm of torque. Power is always available to keep the tractor working, even under the toughest conditions. Fuel consumption, emissions and noise are all closely controlled to minimise running costs

Advanced hydrostatic drive
The dual range hydrostatic transmission system is the preferred choice in turfcare applications. Along with electronic 'cruise control', a 2000 rpm mid PTO is included with this transmission for use with mid-mount rotary mowing decks. This provides a fixed operating speed that is ideal for mowing and driving attachments such as drainage and trenching equipment

Purpose designed cab
Extremely spacious for this size of tractor, the fully glazed cab has a large glass area for truly panoramic visibility. Purpose-designed for the TC27D, the cab protects the operator from noise, dirt and the elements, ensuring year-round comfort. Cab accessories available include radio cassette, rear wash wiper, front and rear work lights and a flashing roof mounted beacon. In addition to the cab’s forced air ventilation system, the front and rear windows open to provide extra ventilation. The fully glazed doors open wide for easy access and provide excellent visibility to the sides. Controls are ergonomically laid out and labelled for ease of use and operation, just like a full size tractor

No other tractor in this class can turn as tightly or as cleanly as a SuperSteer TC27D. New Holland's Sensitrack system diverts torque from the driven wheel with the least load, to minimise tyre scrub and significantly reduce damage to delicate surfaces, including fine turf.
